Each F Bass humbucker gets its own 3-way toggle for Single, Series and Parallel operation, which means this bass has enough tonal personalities to require separate introductions. Want tight and articulate? Done. Big and muscular? Done. Smooth and sophisticated? Done. Want to hit one note and make the keyboard player reconsider how much low end he’s been using? Absolutely done.

Then there’s the Active F Bass Preamp, Tara Labs wiring and that 34.5″ scale. The low B is tight, authoritative and extremely clear—the sort of low B that doesn’t merely arrive through the PA; it files paperwork and establishes residency.

And LOOK at this thing.

The Natural Matte finish lets that roasted ash grain do all the talking, while the Macassar Ebony fingerboard and Pearloid blocks give it just enough elegance to remind everybody that this is a serious boutique instrument.
