Finished in Ebony with Murphy Lab Ultra Light aging, this Black Beauty has that perfect vintage attitude without looking like it survived three world tours and a bar fight in 1974. The aged yellow binding frames everything beautifully, the mother-of-pearl block inlays glow against the ebony fretboard, and the gold hardware brings the whole “rock royalty” aesthetic together.
The really cool part? Gibson dressed this one from the factory like a ’68 Les Paul Custom Reissue. That means you get the ’68 style witch-hat knobs with inserts and the gloriously overbuilt waffle-back bell tuners—details collectors love and historians will happily lecture you about at guitar shows.

She was born in September of 2025 and is in unplayed, mint condition aside from the Murphy Lab factory aging, which is exactly how Gibson intended it.
