Life is full of difficult decisions.
Do you buy the practical guitar…
…or the one that makes you stop walking every single time you open the case?
Thankfully, whoever ordered this Charvel skipped the practical part entirely.
This isn’t a guitar that politely asks for your attention. It kicks the front door open, cranks a Marshall to eleven, and says, “We’ll apologize to the neighbors tomorrow.”
Just look at that flame maple top. It’s so ridiculously three-dimensional that you’ll spend the first ten minutes tilting it under the lights instead of actually playing it. Fortunately, once you do plug it in, the pair of DiMarzio humbuckers remind you this guitar isn’t just eye candy—it was built to melt faces on a professional schedule.

Condition & Included Items
Born on January 18th, 2017, this Custom Shop beauty is in very clean condition.
The only noteworthy blemishes are a small ding along the side edge of the body and thee typical finish check where the neck joins the neck pocket—a common cosmetic occurrence on bolt-on guitars that have experienced normal seasonal expansion and contraction.
That’s it.
It has just received a fresh set of 10–46 strings, so she’s tuned, stretched, dressed up, and fully prepared to embarrass lesser guitars.
Included are:
- Original Charvel Hard Shell Case
- Original Case Candy
- Tremolo Arm
Why You’ll Love It
There are guitars with flame tops…
…and then there are guitars that appear to have been carved out of molten honey by someone with an unhealthy obsession for perfection.
This one falls squarely into the second category.
The neck is ridiculously fast without feeling paper-thin, the DiMarzios cover everything from sparkling cleans to arena-rock saturation, and the maple board snaps with the kind of attack that makes every note feel like it just drank an espresso.
At 7.8 pounds, it’s perfectly balanced, unbelievably resonant, and built for players who think standing still on stage is a sign of poor planning.
Buy it if you want.
But don’t blame me when you catch yourself opening the case three or four times a day…
…just to make sure the top is still that gorgeous.
Spoiler alert: it is.
Whoever brings this baby home is gonna be STOKED!!
LET’S GO!!
